Head of HR Business Partnering
 
Brightwater Executive is delighted to partner with our client, a significant Irish enterprise in the climate solutions sector, in their search for a Head of HR Business Partnering.

About the Position

Reporting to the Head of HR/CPO, the Head of HR Business Partnering will be responsible for providing proactive and creative HR Business Partnering and initiatives to ensure that our client’s objectives are developed, supported and achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive HR support to align with organisational objectives and resolve complex issues.
  • Mentor the HR Business Partner team to implement people initiatives, streamline processes, and support business goals while aligning with company values. 
  • Champion organisational values, coach leaders, and lead change initiatives. 
  • Shape and drive HR strategy, focusing on talent development, workforce solutions, and industrial relations. 
  • Contribute to HR strategic planning and provide feedback on policies and programmes. 
  • Develop people strategies, including performance management, talent identification, succession planning, and workforce planning. 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare provisions. 

Experience/Requirements

  • Third level qualification or equivalent in a Business or HR-related discipline is essential.
  • Proven HR Business Partnering experience at team leader level, including project and programme management. 
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate it into people strategy. 
  • Skilled at building relationships with leaders and influencing positive outcomes, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels.
  • Strong change leadership, adaptability to trends, and leadership coaching experience are also essential.
