An industry leader in low-carbon solutions for heating, cooling, and ventilation, driven by 'Empower Now' their sustainability strategy, our client is looking for an experienced Group Director of Digital and Business Intelligence to oversee and manage their digital technology initiatives.
 

About the Position

The Director of Digital and Business Intelligence will lead a team of IT and digital architects and developer professionals to implement digital solutions across their B2B and B2C customer segments. This role will involve driving digital transformation, enhancing online experiences, and aligning technology with the group business goals. 

A key focus will be leading the B2B digital transformation project to improve capabilities, customer journeys and experiences, and support these through various AI, CRM, and RPA technologies. Key strategic digital platforms include: Informatica PIM, Acquia CMS, Microsoft Dynamics 365 CR, Commercetools, Power BI, and SAP S/4 HANA.

Key Responsibilities as their leader in digital strategy:

E-commerce and Online Platforms and Website Management:

  • Build out scalable B2B capabilities that can be rolled out across the Group.

  • Manage and optimize B2C e-commerce platforms to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.

  • Collaborate with IT and product teams to implement new features and functionalities that enhance the digital experience.

  • Ensure the company’s websites are user-friendly, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines and increased traffic.

  • Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and measure the effectiveness of digital initiatives and business performance.

  • CRM System Management: Oversee the governance and licencing of the multi-instance Microsoft Dynamics CRM system, ensuring its functionality and efficiency.

  • PIM System Management: Oversee the daily operations of the PIM system, ensuring its functionality and efficiency. Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of the PIM system.

  • Customer Experience: Enhance the digital customer experience across all touchpoints. Implement strategies to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.

  • Budget Management: Manage the digital budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners. Ensure that third-party services align with company goals and standards.

  • Compliance and Security: Ensure digital activities comply with legal requirements, data protection regulations, and company policies.

  • Develop and implement digital strategies.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with an ability to work in a fast paced, fast evolving industry and various priorities and customer demands.

  • Natural leader with in-depth knowledge of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.

  • Adept communicator, strong at engaging and understand business leader’s needs with a strong solution focused approach and business partnering style. 

  • Solid understanding of data management and analytics.

  • Knowledge of Informatica PIM, Acquia CMS, Commercetools, MS Dynamics CRM experience of B2B transformation an advantage. Great energy and an enthusiastic “can-do” attitude
