About the Position

As Head of Revenue (Trading), you’ll be reporting to the Director of Trading and you will own your respective regional Profit & Loss (P&L) performance working closely alongside their strategic partners and will take full responsibility for revenue growth and cost efficiency. 

You will optimise trading strategies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, to drive innovation to achieve ambitious goals.  Leading the META’s (Metasearch Partners) Trading Squad, you will be an integral part of the wider revenue function, working closely with three other Head of Revenue (Trading) peers that lead out on different P&Ls, supported by cross-domain experts.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end P&L management, optimising revenue strategies and cost efficiencies with third party vendors.

  • Set performance targets, leveraging data-driven insights to exceed expectations.

  • Develop and execute eCommerce trading strategies, including pricing, digital marketing, and CRM campaigns.

  • Manage and mentor as small team of high-performing cross-domain experts.

  • Collaborate with the other P&L Heads of Revenue to prioritise and align goals. 

  • Work closely with cross functional team members across who drives revenue and contribution growth via data science, performance management, pricing, CRM, digital marketing, UI/UX optimizations, and analytics.

  • Leads the META’s revenue / trading squad, managing a small team of Commercial Analysts and work closely with Pricing & Supply Analysts 

  • Manging key partnerships relations such as (Skyscanner, Kayak, Check24, Billiger, Travelsupermarket, and Ctrip)

Experience/Requirements

  • Ideally 5 years + of leadership experience in a similar role with P&L ownership.

  • Strong Commercial Acumen: making informed decisions, often with limited or incomplete data, aligned with the business and partner objectives, to maximise the long-term profit of your P&L

  • Negotiation skills: Proven history of delivering sustainable, positive commercial outcomes from negotiations

  • Leadership: Ability to lead cross-domain subject matter experts to drive revenue growth and achieve sustained cost efficiencies

  • Strong data driven and pricing expertise. 

  • Experience with Tableau and Power-BI and /or similar applications. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, commercial, and management skills.

  • Proven ability to design and execute strategic programs lead negotiations and manage stakeholder relationships.

  • Experience in executing eCommerce trading strategies across pricing, content management, digital marketing, CRM, and front-end optimisation.

  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

  • A self-starter mentality with a passion for driving performance and innovation.
