Brightwater Executive is delighted be partnering with a leading investment management firm that is seeking an experienced European Equities Portfolio Manager to join its high-performing equity team.
About the Position
The role offers the opportunity to manage and co-manage European equity portfolios, drive investment strategy, and contribute to the firm’s continued success. The position is based in Dublin, within a collaborative and research-driven environment that values innovation, risk management, and sustainable investment practices.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and co-manage European equity portfolios, generating strong relative performance against benchmarks.

Identify, research, and implement investment ideas in collaboration with analysts and portfolio managers.

Conduct rigorous market analysis, apply valuation frameworks, and optimize risk budgeting for portfolio construction.

Engage with company management, analysts, and brokers to enhance investment insights.

Support business development activities, including client engagement and product innovation.

Integrate ESG principles into the investment process.
Experience/Requirements
- Proven track record in managing European or global sector portfolios.
- Strong bottom-up stock selection expertise with deep sector research experience.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to generate investment ideas and take calculated risks.
- Strong decision-making abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
